Darkest SpongeBob episodes?

What do you think is the darkest episode of Sponge Bob Square Pants, in your opinion?

I would say "One Coarse Meal", with SB-129 as a close second.

That Health Inspector episode was pretty dark, in retrospect.

Health Inspecter episode, the Strangler episode, and one of the funniest, handsome Squidward episode. Specifically the part where it has a POV of Spongebob slamming the door in Squidwards face while he lies on the floor begging Spongebob to stop. I laughed so much.

While not the creepiest in terms of nightmares, did anyone get creeped out by Normal Squidward at the end of the episode where Spongebob "normalizes" himself?

I'll say. He scared the normal out of Spongebob.

Also the movie was pretty dark too. Dennis still lives in my nightmares.

Yeah, Dennis was pretty scary for a character in a kid's film.

Classic Spongebob: Texas. Sandy literally decides to murder Spongebob and Patrick for insulting Texas.

Modern Spongebob: Either the episode where Mr. Krabs dressed as a whale and drives Plankton to suicide or the episode where Spongebob and Patrick are stuck in a cave and decide to eat each other.

For me, its almost any episode where Patrick has or is given the upper hand over Sponge Bob and begins to milk it. He has nearly a psychotic glee in these that makes you wonder if there was anything he would stop at.

And he's voiced by Alec friggin BAL Dwin. Pow.

The episode where the Flying Dutchman goes to live with Sponge Bob. There are several nightmare fuel moments in that one, including the part where he transforms into various creepy things to try and scare Sponge Bob, who eventually became immune to the scaring.

BWAAAHAAHA xD I was trying to find the name of the episode where sandy invents a teleporter (the darkest episode, in my opinion) someone messed with the article though.

Squid Bob Tentacle Pants is the name of the teleporter episode I was thinking of. The end was dark.

The ending of “SquidBob TentaclePants” was just...brrr.... (shudder)

I was wholly expecting the episode where they enter Squidward’s body Fantastic Voyage-style to have a similar ending but mercifully, they went in a more cartoony, less grotesque direction.

I'd say either "One Coarse Meal" or The Movie.

The one where Mrs. Puffs ends up in jail for something involving Spongebob, and he tries to break her out, then drives her crazy, and she ends up in an insane asylum, and then it turns out to be All Just a Dream, and then a series of all just a dreams.

The episode where Squidward tries to get Spongebob not to do that annoying laugh, only at the end, he gets into an accident and winds up in the hospital. Spongebob, who is visiting him in bed, revealed that they replaced Squidward's laugh with Spongebob's. BWAHAHAHAHAHAAA.
