Unfortunately, I can't read Dutch, but shouldn't arrests over DDOS attacks just end up provoking more DDOS attacks?

Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.If enough people are arrested, it would be a RL DOS of the police station.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayHuh, civil rights protests sometimes ended up overflowing jails, didn't they? Weird way to think about it.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Let's start taking bets on how many dumbasses will be busted for the exact same thing.
^^ You don't know of the chanspeak saying "over 9000" do you?
EDIT: People have made provisions that if the "main" hivemind (D Do S cloud) hits a dutch website that they will warn Nederlanders about the fact that they ARE hitting a dutch site. I remember during Chanology someone in the netherlands got V&....or it was a family who got hit because the channers thought they were 'The Regime' members.
lol. The Southern Sudan groups have been doing the same shit for thaat referendum to declare independence, epecting the Arabs not to abide by the referendum
Honestly, they will end up dying one way or another. The internet will probably be oppressed, it's that they either go down fighting or surrender like cowards. That is their logic. They'd rather say "We did SOMETHING to fight the system, rather than surrender and let governments shit on us and fuck us up the ass".
Besides, maybe that will wake up the 2600 for their denial of Op Payback and separating themselves from the "Skiddies" who make up Anonymous. At least Anon is DOING SOMETHING to gain attention to the cause, AS WELL as objectively strike back, AND emotionally revenge Assange. Unlike the people who wrote that and probably are embedded within society and can criticize the channers.
here's some posts from the irc chat A Nd twitter
Apparently, plenty ppl still don't understand why we #ddos. Not 4 fun but #payback. Down with oppressive corrupt govt #assange #paypal

WHASSUP....... ....with lolis! You know, the whole cyberwar thing is kind of awesome in a weird way. I don't know enough to hack or anything, considering offering my computer to the hive mind though.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Don't any of you remember Chanalogy?
God no. If that happened they've would have noticed it LONG ago. Besides, the software is simply a newer/updated version of a D Do S program that has been used and updated in MANY chan wars. The only difference I remember is that the newer one has a voluntary botnet option. Many channers are still hitting with their older versions that do not have botnet. That is proving to be a problem, they are trying to hit when a certain mass is achieved....but there will be independent peopl not connected & that botnet isn't exactly the most functional, assuming they aren't getting D Do Sed themselves.
Seriously though they don't have to really organize that much. Create a bunch of small cells of people who work closely together but are not connected to anyone else. Works pretty well in most cases.
They did that for Chanology, local groups. They were too large to be called 'cells' and it happend AFTER the D Do S and cyberwars happened - e.g. it was IRL raiding.
Yes. In earlier wars anon would pull a D Do S as a finishing move, not a beginning salvo. They'd invade a forum first. But they're not hitting forums, so unless some 1337 haxx0r is available to do defacing of the sites, they have to pull a D Do S, or take advantage of a blatant flaw in the site to inflict massive damage (like that happens...)
Oh, and there's general harassment tricks like printing the fax machines out, harassing people with condoms/mormons/pizzas, SWA Ting them, etc.

WHASSUP....... ....with lolis!http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/bestoftv/2010/12/10/ps.wikileaks.hackers.cnn.html
WHASSUP....... ....with lolis! You're going to have to summarize, since the video is no longer available.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Guy who coordinated Howard Dean's internet campaign in 2004 supports the concepts of Op Payback and doesn't think the D Do S is technically illegal due to it simply being refreshing a page.
WHASSUP....... ....with lolis! Two arrest over cyber-protests is laughable but the over-flowing jails lines reminds me of this:
Following this speech close to 800 people were arrest (all from the same school mind you), 2 arrests are nothing.

[[User Banned]]_ My Pm box ix still open though, I think?I am still interested to see how long Anon can go on.
Who watches the watchmen?Couple weeks until they get bored. On the other hand, winter break, so they get more free time...

You lost!I saw that earlier. I doubt pushing things already shown will have much effect.
I might garner some short term attention but people will go back to ignoring them.

Who watches the watchmen?Anyone else find that Assange looks a little bit like a young Palpatine?
...
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.Well, if this was a clichéd action movie, I'd say he's Obviously Evil but since its reality, that should not affect anyones opinion of him.
You lost!^^Nah, he looks more like Johan Liebert.
...
GOOD GOD THAT'S EVEN WORSE
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat! He looks like he needs to eat something. So any news on the new direction of the Anons campaign.
Who watches the watchmen?Kinda looks like Bill Maher.
World Of Warcraft, meet WikiLeaks. A member of the the raiding guild Ensidia just got arrested.
Yes, I posted this in another thread too, but different threads for different responses.

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)...why is their most distinguishing feature that they play World Of Warcraft? O_o
and why are they all Dutch, do they have a ninja NSA equivalent or something
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.The dutch are the only ones taking this seriously/actually have laws in place to combat cyberwar.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?I'm just scared that in the inevitable internet-restriction legislation to come out of this, somebody's going to use it to push their anti Net-Neutrality agenda. It would be horrible to see the Internet as we know it end over this one stupid thing.
And we have arrest #2 over the D Do S attacks:
19-year old arrested over attacks on Dutch police websites after arrest of first person involved with DDoS attacks (article in Dutch)
And in the reactions on that article there's some idiot announcing they will continue with the attacks...guess that will be arrest #3.
