I feel like there should, perhaps, be a higher threshold for how far a launch from a throw needs to be compared to another launch on walk-off edges. It'd go a way towards making the camper strat less popular- Even if it's not actually good it's very common.

In general, when playing a multiplayer game, there will always be that person who camps, or mashes buttons, or makes rules even though it's not their house.

No, rules are good. An injection of mild randomness can make things interesting but too often or too much and things break down to the point where you may as well just be rolling dice and nothing else.

The thing about campers and button-mashers is that they're not going to win that way unless their opponents are very unskilled.

It's sort of a self-solving issue since they either get better or just give up.

Camping is usually a crutch unless you're playing a pretty specialized character, though.

If they're a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass who is just trying to trick you into letting down your guard that'd be one thing, but I'm assuming that they're camping because it's the best strategy they can muster, in which case yeah, they're unskilled.

I don't think I'm that skilled at the game, but I don't camp simply because that's a boring way to play.

It takes a certain talent to be able to consistently win games by timeout using Sonic (basically requiring Sonic to be played in the campy style) which a rather notable Smash 4 player is capable of doing.

Why use Sonic for that?

I think you're underestimating its effectiveness.

Spin Dash + Shield is hard to deal with and Sonic can Spring Jump away if feeling pressured.

As a Greninja main I really hate dealing with Sonic and I've played Wrath before though it was a long time ago. But really, the guy is playing to win so I won't blame him for using a winning strategy.

Civil War just finished taking place this weekend and...wow what an amazing tourney. I have never seen so many high level Shulk players in one sitting, and even a Link made it to Top 8, taking out Abadango in the process!

I didn't watch the tournament but I sure saw the reactions to it. Link in top 3, that's pretty wild.

Honestly ZeRo being taken out so early was what surprised me the most.

Yeah, Zero already said beforehand if you made it out of pools, its the same as winning a regional/major because of all the international threats that came to fight.

I wanted to see Ze Ro G Fs, but the 2GG curse remains unbeaten. Still was super fun to watch.
