They should have done more than "lol max aura" for him. Or at least make "max aura" extend the range of his attacks by a significant amount.

What Mega Lucario really needed was a speed increase because Lucario is really slow in this game.
Aura Storm is still worse though, anybody who knows about it can dodge it very easily, while at least Mega Lucario is not predictable in what he'll do.

I dunno, Psystrike is pretty easy to avoid so long as Mewtwo isn't right up on you. Especially if there are multiple people.

Since he needs to be going top speed in order to effectively launch people, he isn't as good, he also controls better.
It is far too satisfying to beat a Final Smash out of a character and then kill them with yours.

Surprising, since it was the Brawl Meta Knight of Brawl Final Smashes. Kinda hard to forget, even if it's not quite as powerful as it used to be. 
We can all agree that Giggle Bowser sucks pretty hard though. If I recall correctly his Forward-Smash is weaker than regular Bowser's.

Did Giga Bowser stop being a good final smash or...?
It was never a good Final Smash. It's basically Bowser with a Super Mushroom, except slower, less powerful, and basically no benefit other than super armor and some elemental effects on his attacks. And with the buffs Bowser received this time around, it's even less useful in comparison. The super armor isn't even infalliable, certain attacks can stunlock Giggle Bowser.
Edit: Oh, and I guess you become immune to grabs (and command grabs), but nobody's going to bother trying to grab you when they can just run away and/or pepper you with projectiles.

I believe taking damage also reduces the amount of time you're transformed.

It should be stronger. Final Smashes that cannot consistently score at least a kill on damaged opponents should be reevaluated.

@Anom: Meanwhile, Meta Knight's Final Smash is the Melee!Kirby of Final Smashes. Outside of Training Mode, I can never get it to connect.

Meta Knight's is pretty good if you hit with it. It's not unlike Great Aether, just weaker.
You know what I never understood? At least in Brawl, using Meta Knight's final smash also hurt your teammates for some reason. I don't know if they fixed that here but it's weird.
