Oh, shit, I forgot about the Best Buy demo. Back then, it was definitely Little Mac on the 3DS, and Wii Fit Trainer on the Wii U.
I remember that after the first game of that demo, the Wii U crashed, and the lady rep from Nintendo in charge of it had to file out a huge report on the issue, like exactly what happened at what time when the crash happened, and these guys in front of us were just bitching about it because they thought she just didn't know how to turn off and on the Wii U.
Really reminds me how I don't like going to nerd events, actually.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorMega Man for me, as I had downloaded the demo.
Demo: Megaman
3DS: Rosalina (Because I was going working my way across the roster)
Most hyped to try: Megaman, little Mac, Robin, and Greninja. I saved the frog for last
IIRC, Mega Man was Smash 3DS, and Mii Brawler was Smash Wii U for me.
BTW, is there a limit of Mii fighters I can upload? Or would you guys be interested in any of my Mii fighters (except ones based off real life people).
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! How many Smash fans have legit though of non-video game characters appearing in SSB? I've had legit thoughts of that happening. Like with the anime shows I listed a couple pages back. There is a reason why a lot of my Mii Fighters are non-video game characters.
Speaking of, anyone interested in any of my Mii Fighters? I'll list them if you say you are.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I heard that James Bond came kinda sorta close to being in Melee.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Villager I worked with a bit the most. However, Link and Mario are the two I went to instead. I switched over to Dr. Mario upon his reveal for the main game over Mario. Link is still one of my more played characters, though. Mario does rock in 4, regardless.
When you guys watch Little Mac's trailer, who else gets Edward Elric vibes when Mac loses it when Samus compares her height to his?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Day 1 Robin Main. Lucina too when I unlocked her. For the demo, Villager.
Now I do...
I was hoping to find a good Sonic vs. Megaman fight, and this one really was worth the watch. Damn those lemons!

The sad, REAL American dichotomyPlayed a lot of Villager and Mega Man in the demo. When the game actually came out, I gravitated towards Greninja and WFT more.
I'm pretty sure my first newcomer was Robin, though it may have been Greninja.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Mega Man and Greninja for me. I was sure one of them was going to become one of my mains.
To think it's almost been a whole year since 3DS's release in Japan...
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. So I was thinking in the shower, trying to come up with ways to buff Samus, Palutena and Zelda that are true to their games, and I wound up thinking of a moveset for Travis Touchdown that's true to his, with a couple of interesting mechanics
- He'd play sort of like a hybrid of Shulk and Little Mac, but with almost all of his kill power coming from smash attacks, and throws after the opponent reaches 100%
- Special moves:
- Neutral B: the chargeable 3 hit combo from NMH, but like in NMH, he can inch around slowly horizontally while charging, and can hold it indefinitely. The more it's charged, the less knockback it does.
- Down B: Swap sword - changes between Tsubaki Mk-III (default), Peony (slower but more range, damage and knockback) and Rose Nasty (much faster hits but less damage and knockback). This would change which sword he used for his Neutral-B special, air attacks and other A-moves
- Side B: Fury of the tiger - basically, think Ike's Side B, only Travis quickly changes into a tiger
- Up B: Dark step - a counter move, and short range vertical recovery. Travis does a quick jump in a short forward act, and if an opponent attacks while they are in the air, he does a strong slash. If they're grounded...
- Both Neutral B when fully charged and Up B when the opponent is grounded put the opponent in a dizzy state
- Throws: the various suplexes he can use. Once opponents are over 100% damage, the impact on the ground gives them high knockback in the up or side direction depending on the throw (or 45 degrees, for the down throw)
- A moves (airs, tilts, smashes, basic combo): the various sword moves. The held basic combo can dizzy.
- Final Smash: basically, think Captain Falcon's except with Glastonbury using its finisher
As for the other characters I was thinking of solutions for:
- Mewtwo (add one at a time until he's considered on par):
- implement the "Pressure" ability: automatically implement the stale moves mechanic for all non-Mewtwo combatants (makes it harder to combo and rack damage, increasing his survivability)
- gain tether recovery
- gain wall cling
- gain horizontal hover after double jump, similar to Peach
- increase dash speed
- Add sourspots to his tail attacks so that the hitbox is more accurate
- increase knockback for forward facing A moves
- Palutena: instead of choosing moves before a match, have her shuffle between them at will by inputting that move's command while she is holding shield. Or, have them used by holding down the command for longer or making them expire like Robin's tomes and Levin Sword. Basically, make it an actual gameplay feature instead of an out of gameplay element
- As for Samus and Zelda, I haven't really heard what's wrong with them enough to make a suggestion

The sad, REAL American dichotomyGeez Greninja is a popular choice here
It was Villager for me. I liked him in the demo, so I picked him in the full game.
(Still taking stage upload requests, by the way. Just PM me.)
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIf Travis Touchdown made it in, I'd love to see his battery powered mechanic make it in. At full charge, attacks are very powerful and deadly, but low charge, attacks have almost no range, knockback, or damage. Basically a varied Robin in this regard.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI just noticed I have a weird little quirk in that I always turn around before I try a meteor smash. Anybody else have strange quirks?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI still sometimes continously press the "A" button when doing Fox's/Meta Knight's/Falco's/Little Mac's multi-hit neutral-A jabs.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Same for me, except for Meta Knight, whose jab is automatically multi-hit.
When it comes to characters like Captain Falcon, it doesn't really matter whether I use the multi-hit or the finishing jab with better knockback (in Falcon's case, the "Gentleman").
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Just uploaded four more stages. Underground and Lavender Town from Super Smash Land, Pyrosphere without hazards, and an updated Pokémon Stadium M.
As for weird quirks, instead of taunting, I tend to run to the edge after a KO.
