Mario's a worldly guy. In that he's been to a hundred worlds, many on the same "planet".

I'm sure everybody in Japan got the reference, but Sakurai doesn't care that he made a cultural reference that the rest of the world knows nothing about. Or he assumed the translator would take care of it.

Nintendo is hosting another Smash Bros. Tournament, this one at Comic Con, but using the 3DS version. According to their Twitter, it'll be on the 25th, and streamed on Twitch.

Mario's Open Golf alternate costume is epic.

If nothing else, alternate costumes NEED to be free DLC.

Now they need to make the Bumper work like a throwable shield and we can be Captain America.

I misread With Anyone as With Avengers and got very confused.

Now I'm thinking about who the other Avengers would be.

Mac, with his ability to turn into Giga Mac, strikes me as the Hulk.

Pit's primary weapon is a bow, so there's Hawkeye.

Samus is obvs Iron Man.

Thor...hmm. Thor. Only one I can really think of is Dedede.

Black Widow is kind of a toss-up between Sheik and ZSS. I'm more inclined to give it to Sheik, just because I already used Samus.

That's actually going to be a secret unlockable character. You get it by defeating 20 enemies in Cruel Smash (whatever they're calling that mode in this game).
