GameStooge has revealed the nomination list for the 2010 GameStooge Awards, with Red Dead Redemption leading the nominees with 12 nods, followed by Mass Effect 2 (10), Call Of Duty Black Ops (8) and Halo Reach (7).

Is there like a beta of Cataclysm you played? Cuz it seems odd to put it up as a nominee for "Best Expansion" before it's even been released.

I played the Cataclysm beta for 4 months.

Persona 3 Portable got nominated for best PSP game but not best RPG? I am disappoint.

How do you decide the nominees? Was there a panel discussion or anything or did you just write up your own personal list?

SMG 2 was probably not included because the majority of its music was from SMG.

Interesting choices, although I'm surprised (And glad) Red Dead Redemption won in best technical graphics over Heavy Rain.

SMG 2 was considered, along with a ton of other games. It didn't make the cut of 5.

Aw yes. Donkey Kong Country Returns won best platformer, and apparently Sonic Colors was a close second?

A special shout out to Mod Nation Racers, which is, along with Joe Danger, the best PSN game on the market.
