Episode 11 of Kannazuki No Miko is out of Patreon. Man, this show really is pure garbage. Whoever paid to subject Chuck to this is really a sadistic bastard.

All series he's been doing for a while. With one notable exception. Technobabylon. This is the first time I've heard about it, but it sounds interesting.

He had mention during his review of Anna's Quest that there were other Point and Click games who had been requested, Seems it is it.
Now that I think about it he hasn't done any of the Star Trek games like Star Trek A Final Unity, I would love to see that.
Just one more episode to go until Chuck's (hilarious) suffering is over.
Man I really don't get why someone would pay for that one instead of some other Sci-Fi animes with interesting concepts...
They probably knew it was bad and wanted Chuck to suffer and/or tear it apart.
I for one am really enjoying Chuck's speeches on just how blatantly sexist and homophobic KnM is.
He has never reviewed a work that goes full on Space Is an Ocean like Captain Harlock and Bodacious Space Pirates has he? Well the latter is so hard Sci-Fi that its more space is under water.
Star Trek II is probably the closest I think.

Did someone say Space Is an Ocean? Cuz I recently added an example to that page. Specifically I classified it as an "Inversion" of the trope and I just want some feedback to make sure that, yes, it is an inversion.
The example is the Galleon Galaxy level in Yooka-Laylee. It's a Gangplank Galleon-themed level, set on a body of water with a lot of space-themed elements. For example, you can transform into a galleon, but it's called a spaceship. Islands that are a short swim away are treated as separate planets.

I hope he covers Steven Universe one day. On genre and handles its LGBT themes much better.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.God knows I requested stuff for the same reason
Heck, my next review request is Transformers G1's B.O.T.S
Read the T Fwiki summary. It's awesome.

As far as animes go I would consider Bodacious Space Pirates is great at that too, the lesbian couple in it is quite well written. And the whole show lacks fanservice entirely, even from characters who you might expect it.

Kannazuki No Miko 11 is up, despite all efforts for it not to be: http://sfdebris.com/videos/anime/kannazuki11.php …

I think this might have been the worst thing I've had to sit through.
Ouch.
BTW coz no one posted this, Requests are temporarily re-opened in a limited manner. Can only request specific shows, and it's mostly to fill gaps in "existing" request - ie: Shows he's gotten requests for, but there's still episodes not covered.
Based on the limited requests, seems someone asked for a specific episode of Planet ES [13/26]

If I had the money I would sent Sf Debris vol I and II of Strike Witches :
- good female characters
- nice historical setting
- cool sci-fi elements
- the comedy gold of Chuck losing his sanity - it would be like the Necronomicon of anime for him...
Seeing as those are not on the list you'd be waisting your money.
I would like to see him do Trigun. Some weirdness, but it also has enough philosophical bite for him to actually analyze it.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenShadow'a Journey part 6 is out. At the end he promises "Hermit's Journey"... I assume it's going to be about the prequels, but what would be the Star Wars clips used there?
Children of Dievas - my webcomic about the Northern CrusadesSo, when George made the prequels did the other people working on the movie assume that he had in fact had the whole thing planned out from the beginning and not have the heart to tell him when his ideas were bad?
pretty much, The idea of GL as a visionary had been absorbed into pop DNA
Many of the actors would comment that they felt some of the scenes in the PT would have been better if they had been allowed to play around more with the scenes 'Get the tone right' instead GL went back to his only shot as many takes as minimally possible and similar to Ro TJ there just wasn't many people who would challenge GL
Ewan and Hayden talk about the elevator scene in Episode 2 specifically where this was a problem
cause unlike ANH or ESB where GL was working with his peers who were just as stubborn as he was, the PT GL was the Veteran and everybody was his junior
Lucas' story is sad even though he isn't really blameless for it .-. Kinda depressing how people love to make fun of the guy(even if its kinda deserved) since its essentially just kicking someone who is already down(though rich)
But yeah, isn't his story pretty much cautionary tale about following your dreams without thinking about it ahead? I mean, he did build his ranch, but even if he hadn't gotten his relationships ruined in process, it was kinda doomed to fail for its intended purpose from the start ._.
Salon did a scathing article on Lucas - mentioning how a lot of his influences came not just from the serials he loved but science fiction like Lensman and others-but Lucas was loath to admit he was cribbing from other sources and making things up as he went along. The author's words not mine.
The problem Lucas had is the same Roddenberry had. He got lighting in a bottle and then is expected to do it again and again.
- like Lucas, Roddenberry was an idea man. Sure they could crank out scripts, but when push came to shove, they were better at concept than writing about people interacting
- Star Trek and Star Wars both happended in a pop culture that didn't have anything like it at the time. Most sci-fi on tv was for kids, ditto movie sci-fi. And both had positive messages (an optimistic future in the midst of the turblent 60's for Star .Ttrek - hope and good over evil for Star Wars).
- The follow ups were not so good when the creator was in charge and in full control.
- Lucas has nothing on Roddenberry's failings as a show-runner: killing inter-character conflict and denying grieving because "future!". Letting his personal fetishes run wild on the characters (see Sf Debris review of "The Last Outpost"). Season one TNG is full of aliens that make Jar Jar look like Shakespear.
Is The Shadow's Journey going to cover the making of Empire AND Jedi? I had thought Chuck would do one documentary per movie.
