Well, durable enough to take the Dark Star Saber again. So did the Star Saber lose durability after all this time being stuck in a rock.
I'm willing to chalk up the last loss to materials. The Dark Star Saber (a name that proves how uncreative Megatron really is) was straight dark energon. The blood of the antithesis of Primus himself beaten into shape by a perversion of the power of a Prime. It's entire existence is sacrilege by transformer standards. I don't know what the original Star Saber was made of, but it didn't seem to be energon (or some superior version of that).

"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasI would consider the fact that Megatron had prepared himself immensely for the conflict while Prime might have been offput by Megatron's depravity and not quite in the game, it's clear that both weapons are empathic to some extent and that might have had an effect on durability. Not quite Worf Had the Flu but certainly along the same spirit. With the Star Saber reforged and Optimus having time to prepare himself as well, the new fight might be a bit more equal.

Considering how much Dreadwing values family(it was Skyquake's death that brought him to Earth in the first place) I'm not surprised this was his breaking point. There was no way he'd be able to work with Starscream after learning what he did.
One Strip! One Strip!Τhat's a given. I was referring to his way of disobeying Megatron. The question is what will Dreadwing do after he leaves the Autobots a present. Personally I think he will either commit suicide, leave Earth, or somehow attempt to enter the shadowzone dimension to grant peace to his brother. Joining the Autobots seems unlikely.
True. I'm thinking trying to get his brother's corpse is the most likely development.
One Strip! One Strip!I doubt that Dreadwing will be sporting an Autobrand any time soon (if nothing else, Bulkhead and Wheeljack would take offense to him killing their Wrecker comrades), but his time with the 'cons is probably over.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasWell, slag. Didn't expect the kids to get back into the show like that.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasRIP Dreadwing
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG this episode!
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Starscream may be treacherous, but Dreadwing disobeys once to save Megatron, and then another to kill Starscream gets him killed.
Funny, the only time Autobots don't escort their human partners safely home they get captured.
I find it kind of funny seeing Bulkhead and Arcee using the Immobilizer, which looks like a toothpick on him, and the Apex Armor, changing her from Fragile Speedster to Mighty Glacier.
Up until a few moments ago I thought Dreadwing would somehow be revived, but then I remembered what they said about characters they kill off staying dead.
And when will Knockout produce results from that Super energon?
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."You mean the incomplete synthetic energon formula? I have no idea if that's ever going to pay off since the energon shortage was quietly forgotten.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasCan't watch the episode as it's not uploaded yet... But look what I found.

God damn that episode was awesome! I'm still pissed that Bulkhead is perfectly fine and that they have been ignoring Wheeljack but the last few episodes have been pretty awesome. I'm kind of bothered by how few cons there are though. Hopefully we can get more of them next season besides just Shockwave and the Predacons.
Optimus must be a fan of Final Fantasy, what with the BFS and all.
I wrote a haiku as well
And Knock-Out and Starscream, sigh,
they fight like old flames,
why do you feed the shippers?
It was cool to see all the weapons in action, I like that Arcee got the Apex Armor.
But the most kickass part was definitely the unlocking, it just felt so epic, too bad Megatron cut it short.
And the Decepticons kind of confuse me, are we supposed to be sympathetic to Knock-Out and Starscream for the suffering they go through, or should he hate them for the evils they have done? The most noble characters were killed off, and we feel bad for them. I tend to swing back and forth on weather Knock-Out, Starscream and Megatron are sympathetic.

All our wishes can come trueWait. Awesome and all, as fits for a penultimate episode, but how exactly does Megatron shoot Dreadwing? Does he use the Force?
The next shot shows megatron holding dreadwings gun.
About Starscream and Knock Out, anyone thinking Space Cowboy and Space Samurai?
Brokeback Transformers?
'One was the treacherous second-in command who never let anything stand in his way of conquest, the other was the fiery ships doctor with a soft side and a love of alien arts, together they will discover that in space, no one can hear you transform and roll out...if you know what I'm saying '

All our wishes can come true
Not really. Is there a reason I should?
And now I fully grasp why the kids have been kept out of the loop.
I had forgotten that Soundwave had been working on discovering where they lived(along with the Autobot base), and now that plot thread totally blindsides all of us. It was easy to forget about it, just like the Autobots forgot about the humans, and now, boom! Back in all our faces.
Enjoying your trip to Cybertron Miko?
Oh. oh. Didn't need to know that. I would have preferred to stay ignorant.
Also, twenty point to Starscream. Back with the Cons barely a day, and he's already learn how the keys function, and captured the kids(with assistance from Knockout and Soundwave. He really is better with Megatron than against him. This is what I wanted to see back in Partners: The two of them on the same pages, and it is wonderful. The writers are doing something few have done well: Making Megatron's reason for sparing Starscream believable.

One Strip! One Strip!@Geo, something like increased aggression isn't much of a concern for Decpticons. I thought the Decpticons would be feeding it to the Vehicons to make them competent, but nope.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Err, I meant that episode of Cowboy Bebop, which had Spike competing with a literal space cowboy who became a space samurai at the end.
I'm surprised no one's said this yet so I'm going to bite the bullet. *Achem* Poor Deadwing...
I'll show myself out.
When you reforge something, it's always more durable, so I would expect it to be so.
One Strip! One Strip!
