Yes. Double's bandwagon super can be very monotonous since the CPU loves to screw you over and over with that move any chance she gets. I still like her, though. As for the CPU, they don't bother that much, not counting the last boss.
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDsMan1Marie is quite an annoying boss to say the least. BLAST HER RANDOM SKULLS!
Blocked Hornet Bomber into Cattelite super is ridiculous.
Yeah, the AI is like a brickwall the first time you play. Also, while I do like hard games, in games with difficulty levels, I expect them to be balanced. Hell, even on the lowest difficulty, the AI can give you hell if you have no idea what you're doing. (Which newcomers definitely won't. Odd, considering how the game's TRYING to get newcomers to learn about fighting games.)
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!I do not think I will ever tire of TAKE THE GODDAMNED SHOT!
I have a message from another time...To me it also seemed that the difficulty varied depending on who I was facing. Someone like Parasoul wasn't too bad, but Ms. Fortune took about 20 attempts.
Who do you guys main? I'm using Filia/Valentine, although I do want to learn Parasoul (fucking charge characters).
I am currently using Cerebella/Double (This may change when Big Band and Panzerfaust come out though.)

I usually main Filia. I am trying to master Parasoul and Valentine as well.
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDsMan1I've only really played Filia and Cerebella. For obvious reasons.
I have a message from another time...I'm using Peacock/Filia as of now.
Valentine. One of the very few people I've ever won an online match with.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Peacock/Filia. Peacock is my main so far, Filia I play just because I can do relatively decent combos with her.
My buddy mains Cerebella/Valentine, and he can combo for days I'm tellin' ya. His best seems to be Cerebella, though, who is really scary once he gets her going. It's like someone took the Hulk in U Mv C 3, made him smaller, faster and more agile while keeping the super armor on every thing, then added a bunch of command grabs just in case the opponent tries something as futile as blocking, including a level 1 command grab super that does more damage than most characters' level 3's.
I can pretty much never fight her unless I use Peacock to keep her at a distance. His Valentine I can decently fight against, though.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Is it just me or does everyone online seem to have trouble blocking Cerebella's J.MP > J.HP chain all the time?
Watching Skullgirls on ECT. Anyone with me?
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. So I finally picked up the game, and I personally think it's a rather well designed game.
Yes, there's a little too much emphasis on boobs and the like, but unlike the other games I've complained about, the gameplay and other features are clearly the reason to get this game (other then fanservice). It feels easier to get into compared to other fighters, the training mode did a real good job helping me improve my skills, and the story modes were a nice touch, helped expand the character's motivations.
I'm mixed on the animation. On one hand, the fighters themselves move very fluidly, the best I've seen in any 2D fighter. The backgrounds are well designed, but look a bit static to me. I also hate the lack of a list for character moves.
My biggest complaint is about the final boss Marie. She is hands down the worst SNK Boss I've ever fought. She can't be flinched, can basically counter anything you try, and the attacks involving the ghost of the previous Skullgirl take away a lot of health. Oh, and Marie's appearance and voice is constantly reminding me to stop procrastinating and finish something I'm working on.

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!Marie is just poorly designed as a boss for a fighting game. Not sure what they were thinking. Luckily, that's the only aspect of the game I have any complaints about.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Eh, from my experiences with Skullgirls, Marie's last form is annihilated by launcher spam, and she doesn't take projectile spam well either.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. Here is the new additions to training mode that will come along with the patch (Starts at 42:16).

Check out 22:30 — Mike says something about the growth of the FGC that I think can be applied to fandom in general.
For those who can't get You Tube working or who just want a summary:
- An option to show your inputs
- Dummy recording (with an option to enable the Select/Back button to "save/load state" (whatever that is), begin playback or recording, or both). Max time of recording appears to be about 7 seconds. One interesting playback option enables whatever is recorded to be immediately used as a reversal.
- Other dummy options, including what it's controlled by, blocking options, pushblocking options, ground and throw tech options. At least the blocking and pushblocking options have a setting called "after first." I assume this means that the dummy will block or pushblock after the first successful hit for blocking, or blocked move for pushblocks.
Finally got Skullgirls on PSN Tuesday when they knocked it down for PS+ users. Snatched it up the moment I saw the sale.
I really like this game. Fun. I want to main Parasol, but I seem to be eh on her. After her double Standing HP, I have no idea how to continue. I can at times plan a Napalm Pillar at the end of it. I just don't seem good on comboing with her.
For other characters, I'm good with Ms. Fortune, and I enjoy Peacock and Filia and I didn't expect I'd like Painwheel. Valentine's...better as I'm now playing her story mode (but way too sexual for my tastes). But Definitely I like Ms. Fortune.
As for Peacock I definitely like her. She seems less psycho then T Vtropes makes her out to be, and from playing her story, seems like the real hero of this story. I could easily see her uprooting Filia as the showcast character of the game (as Sub-zero and Scorpion did in MK). I wonder if Marie will get downgraded to playable / de-skullgirled and become playable in the future...
Double, Nah, she's too freaky. Valentine, I'm not interested as much.
And for the final boss, I find her to be a good final boss. When I'm not raging I find her decently made (aside from those random skulls. Those I loathe. I've noticed multihit attacks maul through Marie. Peacock's peacock super, Parasol's Level 3, Painwheel's crawl super, Ms. Fortune's Fiber upper. They seem to tear through her at a crazy rate. It's useful for passing up one of the first two stages.
Any news on when the DLC girls are coming our way?
And...where is everyone! I seriously cannot find anyone to play on PSN. I've only met one other person. Where are you PSN playas? (and if you want to schedule a match, let's call the bookies and get the match started)

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.
Finally got the full game.
Played through story and liked all of them, and I'm patiently waiting for more.
I do have a few issues, gameplay wise:
1. No pentalty for Turtling or any sort of way to break through guarding
2. This will sound scrubbish, but the difficulty is way too high even on normal and the AI tends to be too unpredictable.
3. God Damn Double and her damn running over you with peacocks car super is really annoying.
Ironicallly enough, I don't really find Marie to be that hard, only a bit annoying and a bit too long to fight.
