He's so enigmatic, creative, and charismatic. DISCUSS HIM.

Always touching and looking. Piss off.

I don't really understand your slang, but have you been drinking? Or is it the piano that was drinking?

Ever since I got Orphans, I've wanted to tell someone this joke. I have yet to do it. Maybe it wouldn't be the same without that damn near inhuman laugh at the end anyway.

I got into him yesterday, and... yeah, he's awesome when he's doing the evil junkyard creepy carnival noise poetry thing.

Lounge-jazz is okay, but... somehow less cool.

Probably should get working on that essay now...

This isn't badass.

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!

Sometimes Tom Waits is a badass, but other times he's just adorable. First, he and Kathlene Brennan's relationship makes me squee("First Kiss", "Johnsburg, IL", that one song from The Black Rider that mentions her name). Second, the guy is quirky and silly as hell. His British accent makes me giggle, wears a devil outfit, a high heeled shoe on one foot, and rides a tricycle in "I Don't wanna grow up". That episode of Fishing with John where he puts a fish in his underwear...

I wish Tom Waits was my uncle...sad

Tom Waits is so cool, he made a song about That Feel before That Feel became a meme.

Seriously, I lol'd super hard when I first discovered that this song was made years before the That Feel meme. Though as time went on and I listened to it seriously, I realized how passionate this song was and how emotional the subject matter really was, thus turning it from a sort of funny occurrence to one of my favorite songs ever.

I like that song, but I don't have a particular favorite. Someday I hope Tom Waits makes more movie scores like he did for Night On Earth. I can't get enough of his Klezmer goodness.
