Maybe because rather than being a reborn clone or whatever, this is the original Piccolo, so even if main timeline Piccolo was stronger, perhaps the fusion between the two original halves wound up more effective in the long run.

Maybe since he's (a) Piccolo he kept training, and the decade or so he spent doing that ended up equaling the Saiyan/Android/Nail increases.

I think it was King Piccolo, Piccolo Jr., and Kami actually. Somehow.

I think a trip to Hell/Hfil was involved.

This Piccolo could have also done something with the Dragon Balls before fusing with Kami.

I meant to say "maybe the Nameless Namek survived and the evil that became KP simply took over."

That's.....a possibility.

I mean, if he never became Kami, he'd have never spilt off the evil from himself in the first place.

It would explain his power. And the Mafuuba would still work if he got sealed.

He might've also fused with his own offspring since in DBM something like Gast is possible.

I still won't like it if he's stronger than Piccolo Jnr, even if it's justified.

To be absorbed, you must be fully consenting.

I guess my theory just got Jossed. I'm still holding out for a Dragon Ball-related explanation.

I can see the second one. The Saiyans came to earth and Kami realized that for earth to survive he'd have to fuse with Piccolo, who IIRC just wanted to rule the world, not outright destroy it.

Did he? I haven't watched Dragonball in a long time, I just remembered that he told everyone in the world that the only law was that there were no laws anymore.

King Piccolo's wish is to have the "Kami" side of his personality ripped out. That's why he didn't kill Beezlebub, and the "goodness" in him limits his power.

And it looks like he's not that impressive. It makes sense. As powerful as his original form must have been, he's still made up of only 2 nameks at the most.

Did this just turn into Star Wars? I half expect Gast to go "Search your feelings, you know it to be true." and Piccolo to yell "NOOOOOO!!"
