Lose the white eyeliner (you need to blend it, and it only really works with eyeshadow). You look cute with that wing!

Yeah the white was only there because it's in some of the costume tutorials and I figured I needed practice there too.

So today I found that putting my camera back into automatic mode helps with stopping me looking like a potato.

Also apparently getting these things into place and lined up with each other was a right pain in the bum.

my hair is pretty long now - it started doing that swoopy thing on its own.

April 19th, 2018 shall hereafter be known as The Day of Zero Fucks.

I was finally de-Christmasitizing the house when I suddenly decided some garland might make for a nice glammy feather boa. Pardon my messy morning hair.

Why no, I do not believe strawberry blonde is really my colour.

I dusted off my camera.

So you take professional modeling photos? How did that happen?

Well, it so happens they're not professional.

Well, they have a professional look to them. How did you get into doing modeling photos?

Like I said, it's not professional. I'm a member of a photography group for three years now, and I just got back to taking photos because our latest shoot miraculously didn't fall apart. We had only one model and four or five photographers, I arrived first and ended up caught in a sudden rainstorm, real fun times going on there.

Huh. That's pretty interesting. Nice to see you folks doing something fun on the amateur end.

I didn't get to spot his track team, but apparently they were there - and considering how hot and humid the weather has been, I don't envy them one bit.

Seriously considering going up to Sentosa to stalk the summit venue on the 12th, but that would mean going through security checks and competing with a veritable stampede of journalists and paparazzis. Hmm.

Behold the fantastically amazing dinner I cooked to celebrate my newest publication. Even if I'm not in the right location for it. ^_^;;

So I learned if I'm going to do photography at cons I should really get a better camera than my phone.

And yes I was kind of depressingly envious of most of them. Especially the Zero Two and possibly the Samus.
