Yeah, she's still pretty skittish, but she's let me skritch her head a couple of times.

Awww. Have you actually adopted her now then, and how is your other cat coping?
We haven't officially adopted her, because I don't think she's acclimated enough for us to be able to catch her and take her to the vet. She also doesn't have a name yet.
Spectre seems to like having another cat around though. They'll chitter at each other through the door, and they'll playfully bat at each other when I open it up a crack.
Speaking of Spectre, he was trying to help me with the laundry earlier.

Heheh. Seems about right for a cat. I still remember with trepidation the time when one of my gran's kittens leapt over my shoulder from behind while I was rapidly cutting vegetables. I think a loud noise may have eventuated.

◊ color. Can anyone recommend a good bleach & brand of dye that would work on light brown hair?
Peroxide and Maroon hair dye.

I'm afraid a basic red dye will make it fade to orange, though.
