No, not that kind.

So where is your user picture from? Care to share what pics you use on other forums? (I know we used to have a thread about this, but it seems it was lost in The Great Crash.)

My current avatar, and all my previous avatars, are from Gunnerkrigg Court. So it's probably safe to assume that all my future avatars will be from there as well.

I made my avatar. 8 little rats tied at the tail. Creepy as that sounds, look for pictures of an actual Rat King and you'll see why I drew this one.

Seeing that title card pop up last week, how could I refuse?

I see.

Reliable sources say that the manga of Death Note is better than the anime. And yes, I am reliable. =P

Hmm, they've started publishing the manga over here, a translated version, which seems intriguing. Still, nah, it's tempting, but I have better use for my precious monies.

Bump for new forums;

After the system was changed and my old avatar erased, I went through my pic folders to find something new. I contemplated Marx and Che doing a facepalm and many other, and then reached my Animu-related folder. I couldn't find a satisfactory pic of Sanji from One Piece, but found this one fan art piece of Snuffkin from Moomin, and it just worked.

My avatar is a picture of Yzma, the main villain from The Emperors New Groove, which I have admitted elsewhere is pretty much my favorite movie ever. She's just so manic. She's hilarious. Also, her Cut Villain Song was pretty slick.

Mine is The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. I almost always use him as my avatar due to the influence his creed of "Live your life the way you want to" has had on me. It's like 'Live life to the fullest" without the implication you gotta take up skydiving or other dangerous activities to make your life worthwhile.

H.L. Mencken, columnist for the Balitmore Sun.

His complete lack of respect for "creationism" during the Scopes V. Tennessee probably educated more layman on evolution than all the well-intentioned scientists in the world.

He did a lot of other things, so I'm only gonna mention a few more:

Defined the Celebrity: A celebrity is one who is known to many persons he is glad he doesn't know.

Was a genuinely hilarious jackass.

Defended the English Language as spoken in America at a time when the language was met with only scorn and paradoxical denial of existence.

Wrote really well.

Developed the scientific name for a stripper, an ecdysiast.

Mine is a painting I like of an obscure historical figure, I tend not to explain it on the grounds that I like it when people actually recognize who it's of.

Ironically, the text above this text box is "Joysweeper leers at keys". I love those messages.

I'm pretty sure I got my avvie from somewhere on this one Captain America-Iron Man slash comm. Don't know where they got it. The title I put under it will hopefully make it clear that I'm not playing Cap.

For the record, I'm female, but I don't care all that much if people can tell. My username does lean towards being a girl's.

Mine is a picture of me, albeit more anime-esque than I usually look. I did not draw it, I'm afraid, as I have no artistic abilities whatsoever.

It was the only image I had on hand which could easily fit the file size restrictions.
