A magical girl version of The World.

My avatar really is me. But it's years old and cropped up to my pants. It's one half of my pan-Internet profile pictutes.

Ugh, I really need to clear out my backlog of *checks* 1286 images to avatarize (or throw out as unsuitable).

This... could take a while. Maybe I'll do it after I graduate. Which should be in just over a month.

EDIT: Though here's one new one, and I have about 100 sitting around I can upload later this week.

In what way?

I usually search for a character I want, open one in another tab, and change the numbers in the file name for each sequential avatar (found from the drop down menu on my profile) until I find the right one, then select that one from the drop-down menu (text entry to search the menu), if you were wondering how I change avatars. Part of why it works is because each avatar is [character name]_avy#.

You kind of get used to it after the first 20 pages or so.

@Balmung: Thank you. Has it really been that long? The days when your batches were but days apart are still fresh in my memory. But I too have been engrossed in other matters to be avatarizing as much as before.

I've been getting to use many of the avatars you sent me over the years, however. My rotation has come all the way to page 147.

@Lavisher: Well, I always know where I am in my rotation (going through all my avatars and using them once) and I've got certain "bookmarks" to find my place in the list of avatars. For example, right now I'm on page 147 avatar 9 (Remi_Avy538951 from Balmung). When I want to change avatars, I start writing "Harry" for the Harry Potter avatar on page 145, then I go down a bit until I find my current avatar. Sometimes I have to check filenames to be sure.

I also have a safety backup of all the avatars in an organized folder on my laptop. I use this folder to keep an eye out for duplicate avatars and making sure I don't repeat images for Christmas or similar themed batches.

I more or less eyeball it (usually, I can tell if the image looks familiar), and figure that if I do a repeat by accident, I'll cut it better this time, since I'm more experienced. Besides, checking for duplicates would take so long and make the containing folder nigh-unmanageable.

I've been busy and distracted, too. Eh, college and whatnot. Oh well, it'll all be worth it when I get that Bachelor of Science of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Real Estate and Land Use, and Banking.

If I lose all of these on TV Tropes somehow? I'll just start over.

For the record, that huge backlog isn't necessarily the number of avatars that will come from it. After all, several images will get discarded before even starting on them. Of course, more than 1000 will probably still come of it.

After spotting a few of your recuts, I can confirm that they usually get even better the second time. ;)

Of course, it doesn't hurt that I've moved to better and better tools (from MS Paint to Paint.net to the GIMP).

I mean, for example, this Revy avatar◊ was from the Paint.net era and this Utsuho◊ was, I'm pretty sure, from the MS Paint era, while the Frimelda avatar I'm using, I made like four hours ago in the GIMP, which can make much cleaner resizes and higher-quality saves.

With 254 255 avatars starting with page 303, number 26 and featuring Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy (Tactics and A2), Bravely Default, Pokemon, Real Life, Fate Stay Night, Unsounded, Warhammer 40000, Touhou, Metroid, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Dot Hack, Girls Und Panzer, Disney movies, Vocaloids, Shantae, The Legend Of Zelda, Tactics Ogre, and a few other things.

So yeah, check it out, make requests, all that good stuff.

Nope, 4/1, or more accurately, 2015/4/1. ISO date format is best date format. 4/1/2015 is out of order and 1/4/2015 is completely backwards.

Well, they kinda get switched a lot when I upload them, simply due to how the system works.

Anyway, sent, and since I missed the fact that I double-uploaded that Android 18 avatar, there should now be ten more new ones on page 310.

Actually, let's just make it a whole additional page and fill up the rest of page 310.

I always thought there was a limit on avatars.
