MIAYou're by no means a new face to me, but welcome anyway, Anza!
Long live the New Bev.HEY GUYS
I'M HOPEY
I LIKE DANK MEMES, INDIE POP, AND FRIENDSHIP
Bea here.
Not new at all, used to help on YKTS when I first joined on late 2016.
Posted a lot on the Weird Dreams thread (up until now) and frequently on Forum Games and (used to go there a lot but not so much anymore) Yack Fest.
I'm a major SF fan, mostly interested in Back to the Future, Star Wars, and Star Trek
Also invested in comics, anime/manga, and games.
Aaaaaaanyway, nice to meet you, whoever's reading this.
The Superstar of the Supernatural World! (debatable)hello, you can call me shadow_alchemist. I am new to the forums but have been browsing the site for a long time. I'm 18 and currently studying for a degree in computer science. I have three cats. I'm working on writing a few novels (mostly gaslamp fantasy, gothic horror, and romance) and have written many trollfics on fanfiction.net in the hopes of anything I wrote getting its own page (no luck so far). I like anime and manga (favorite is probably Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) and video games, and I spend far too much time on the internet and watching youtube videos.

it's either real or it's a dream there's nothing that is in between'Ello new here, (although my account was created back in 2015-16, IDK). Lurked around here for about 3 years now, just coming in to actually contribute here instead of just watching from a distance.
Welcome, both of you! Hope y'all have fun here!

Long live the New Bev.Hi guys. How do I remove the stupid "new user" limitation? I've been READING the site for YEARS already. Then I finally decided that I had a meaningful contribution (see below), so I registered and added it. Only to not be able to even mention it correctly in the Forums (like, what's the chance of people checking History of ollld pages, ya know, and otherwise they won't EVER see my addition, because I was civil enough to hide that addition with a Note). So, yeah... And for those interested, check Naruto about Hinata's Leomon reference.

You just have to wait a bit.
If you just created an account, then you have to wait a few days to post and edit properly.
iirc, it's the mod's way of making sure you're not a spammer or bot or stuff.
Either way, welcome!
Long live the New Bev.I wish there was a specific TIMER as to how long this "few days" actually is.
I hate waiting for an unidentified period of time.
Please be patient, you'll be fine in time!
Long live the New Bev.I've been on this site for just a few days, and I already hate two things: unspecified limitations that show nowhere until you bump into them, and horrible formatting (I mean it, this lack of a normal non-double New Paragraph is horrible; and how do I even QUOTE anyone, if at all, unless that's AGAIN a part of the idiotic "newbie limit").
Quote button doesn't exist because old admin decisions, but there is
[[quoteblock]]quoted text here[[/quoteblock]]which displays as
For a single line break end one line with two backslashes or [softreturn]
and then you can continue the next line
It helps to read Administrivia.Text Formatting Rules. And the unspecified time on the new account limitations is supposed to be a troll/spam deterrent. It should pass within a week tops.

How "nice".
And how would I find out that it's over - except through stopping to get the limitations, which, again, involves manual "try and fail" over and over again.
Seriously, for such a great site in general, the technical side here SUCKS.
Dude, chill. It's okay. The formatting is just a bit different compared to other sites.

Long live the New Bev.I do hope you enjoy your stay here regardless.
Long live the New Bev.Only when I'll be able to post what I want where I want and when I want.
Until then, I'm unhappy.
I-
Chill, dude. Please. You're not making a very good impression.
'Sides, you can make paragraphs either by leaving an empty space between them or using these two slashes (\\) at the end.

↳ Redirecting to Mvfl G.I'm trying to be friendly here, but I kind of have to agree, this is a pretty bad first impression.
Long live the New Bev.
Welcome to the uncharted waters! Enjoy your visits!
Well, I think I should introduce myself here as well.
Hi everyone! Name's Anza, better known as Anza. I've been browsing the Tropes site for a while, before finally having my account. My first forum posts were mostly in Image Pickin, then I found Forum Games, and I'm now forever wasting time there . And then I found the Yack Fest forums; I think I'm also gonna be here for a while.
If you regularly visit FG, you may know me as that guy who loves cephalopods so much. My avatar gallery mostly consists of cephalopod characters, and I also made several cephalopod OC's (that I role-play in the FG threads), like Party Octopus and Humboldt Squid. Besides cephalopods, I also like a lot of anime, movies, cartoons and webcomics.
My first YF post is not actually in here. It's actually in the Troper Crushes thread.
...don't ask.
...Well, that's it, I guess. Sorry if it's too long
