He was petrified or something... I remember Umbrella-Guy having tea with him during the fall of Azure City.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?O-Chul
He's one of the paladins that knows where the other Gates are. (assuming I remember right).
Redcloak and the lich don't know where last gates are right now.
Yes, and he's become a true butt-monkey ever since he got paralyzed by Xykon before he could destroy the gate. On the plus side, if he's been paralyzed for over a month, he's probably dead by now (besides, whoever heard of a single paralyzation spell that could last that long?
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Maybe it had a day/caster level duration and got metamagiked up to week/caster level?
Still, he should've starved to death (or more mercifully, been killed by a fall or explosion).
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Well, it looks like he wasn't paralyzed the whole time.
I didn't write any of that.A lich like Xykon's Paralyzing Touch is permanent until he dispells it. So, xykon must have dropped the spell/SLA for the sake of torturing O-Chul.
Xykon is totally cheating. Any fair gambling needs the stipulation that you're gambling on the state of the victim after he escapes the deathtrap, since obviously you can't just let him run away afterwards.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Well, Xykon is Chaotic Evil
Guys: (linky)◊ Panel 6. Seriously
Don't ask me, I just fix wicks.Bahahahahaha. I just came here to mention that!
Also, panel 3 seems to be a Take That! against "Incarnum users". Whatever those are.
I didn't write any of that. The virus spreads...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?I looked up Incarnum users. Some kind of magic user that uses souls to prepare spell-like effects. They must be underpowered.
Heel–Face Turn? Or Heel Face Mole?
...so, has O'Chul seen the Thingy's arm/tentacle/telekinesis/whatever it uses to pick up its food?
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? He's clearly too stupid to realize he isn't supposed to help O-Chul. Lucky paladin.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Alignment: Stupid Evil.
I didn't write any of that.Ah. It eats with telekinesis. Couldn't have been that easy, I suppose.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? That's a very odd way of resolving this crisis.
But I'm always a fan of the "accomplishing through stupidity what you can't accomplish intentionally" paradox.
I didn't write any of that.558 strips and this comic still never fails to surprise me. Well, hardly ever.
But is Elan really that stupid? He's been smarter in recent strips.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffElan is a servant to the plot; he's always exactly as stupid (or as smart) as the story and/or the joke need him to be.
Today's was amazing on just about every level.
"Hey."
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count Dorku"The Greg Initiative, base smiley face" "I keep having flashbacks of previous strips". I lol'd irl.
the statement above is falseDon't forget "Bitten by a radioactive ninja".
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?[561]
Right, either: a) I haven't been reading the strips throughly enough up to now or b) The comic has gotten insanely more funny just recently.
the statement above is false
