Also, the two failures at the beginning were 'realize what a bad idea this is' and 'figure out which end of the snake has a mouth'.
So what happened was a reasonable result of the rolls.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Yeah, no, that checks out.
Yeah he failed to realise it was a bad idea, failed to avoid the mouth, passed the swing role, passed the bite dodge, passed the landing roll and failed the unnecessary (due to him dodging the bite) poison save.

The walker controls are four buttons, labelled Q, W, O, and P.
Hopefully Ben knows he should use Q & P and W & O in conjunction.
Now that's friggin' hilarious. Given what we see in the film, though, Chewie must figure it out pretty quickly.
I wonder what portion of the audience gets that joke.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"At least there are no unfortunately placed tea dispensers this time.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it."They were saving it for inept hotwiring attempts." You know, I always wondered about the internal logic of that scene.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Should have seen the Critical Failure coming.
Blast doors exist to be blasted.
(Annoyed grunt)Bunkers exist to be... debunked? Um...
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Ramparts exist to be... Parted!
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Broadshields exist for broads.
Yeah, until the prequels, and all their baggage, this was the best lightsaber fight in the series. In addition to being the final showdown with Vader and Luke's possible temptation, all while the emperor sits on his throne and laughs.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Well, this is an unexpected twist.
Yeah, the tension between Luke unleashing his strength to defeat Vader and turning to the Dark Side in the process is just exquisitely handled. It's so much better executed than Anakin's plight in RotS that I can't even compare the two without grimacing.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah! Who among the important NPCs that knows old Palpy talks that harshly without an accent?
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck. The ghosts of Naboo?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984How about Anakin?
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Sio Bibble? It would act as a nice Brick Joke, considering that Jim thought he was evil all along.
Umm... so, personally... this is the first time this has happened, so I'm a bit surprised. Only a centimetre away...Oh shit, that's right. I forgot Padme's Vader in this comic.
My various fanfics.I absolutely think it's Anakin. He does show up at the end of ROTJ as a Force ghost after all - and this is how they're justifying it.
Looks like Gliph and Luminosity called it.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.Seems like Anakin's Force Ghost is pretty pissed off. To the point of omnicidal mania?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
Nope.
