Dinosaurs flock to journalism—had somebody warned them that a comet was coming to Earth they might have stocked up on supplies or barricaded their nests or something.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I want to say this is more of King Radical's "extreme news," but that almost seems like too sensible an explanation at this point.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Gordito had ridden Yoshi to the studio and then Yoshi escaped from him and is participating in wacky hijinks.
Maybe the banditos from waaaaay back in chapter 3 are showing back up.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.@Fighteer: The alt text assures us that screwing with news anchors is a theme of the comic.
I'm all but certain that the raptor is from wherever the bandits got their raptors. That said, I'm not 100% convinced the bandits are going to be part of this story itself... yet.
Moon◊"Paleontologists, Politicians And Prologue"
I think this might be another flashback story guys.
I'm getting a little tired of flashback stories. I feel like they elaborate on details that don't always need to be elaborated on and take away some of the mystique. Judy in particular, I thought, didn't need an explanation. Especially one as straightforward as "she came from a gorilla village." (Well, straightforward for this comic...) It's more interesting to me to just assume Doc has a gorilla secretary because he has wacky adventures. We don't always need to actually SEE the wacky adventure.
(Gramps's story on the other hand was mostly fine because it added some depth to Doc's character.)
Besides, I was really invested in the main plot and I'm ready for it to move forward.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I liked Why A Gorilla? although if one wanted to compress it, they could probably get away with just this panel.
Glad the author didn't, though.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I didn't hate Why A Gorilla. It just felt like it was unnecessary and added nothing to the characters. It was a Filler episode, basically. Didn't even add any hints about the overarching plot, as far as I can tell.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I didn't mind, since this was right after the end of the huge King Radical arc, right? I think everybody needed a breather. "Here's a quick dumb adventure. It doesn't affect anything, but it's fun."
My various fanfics. It's funny — we didn't expect hard-hitting continuity at all until we got a few mega-arcs, then as soon as the story tried to return to softer fare, all of a sudden everyone yelled, "Hey, what happened to our super serious main story?!"

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Remember the chapter that originally introduced Gordito and Yoshi. That entire plot was orchestrated by Rupert Murdoch, in hopes of creating the ultimate news story. (And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for that disgruntled weatherman.) He secretly provided the raptor banditos with their steeds, straight from his secret dinosaur island.
All that to say: I think this is just Rupert Murdoch trying to mix dinosaurs and TV news again.
The first few episodes/chapters didn't have an overarching story, but they still introduced and developed the characters. There's not a single story in volume one that seems "pointless." The first one introduces Doc and Judy, the second introduces the family, and the third introduces Gordito.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. The story was entertaining, and it developed Judy's backstory, as well as a bit of Doc's with the vampire course stuff; even if that was unnecessary, it wasn't nothing.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Okay I am now 100% convinced the bandits are a part of the story
Moon◊i still kinda doubt it
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterOh, dear. Did the Doc just get ninja-napped by the President?
Haha, it's a pun, because you said "napped", and he was sleeping... I get it!
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Oh, good, looks like it's a present-day story after all.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. So, um
I have a message from another time...Hope we find out who pheromoned the president.
Judging from the last panel we're going into a Doonesbury crossover. Should be interesting.

So, the dinosaurs are just part of the society now? Is this more wacky Time Travel hijinks? Where is the Alt Text? The world wants to know!
