Perhaps tossing that down the pit was not the best idea in retrospect.
Ooh, looks like the "cursed to lose your name" thing is happening. *grabs popcorn*
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Curse, huh? Can't be worse than the KNIFE EYE ATTACK
I sort of expect Grandpa to die before this story is through.
Would explain why we haven't seen him before now.

Moon◊IIRC didn't they say he was "dead" (or "hadn't confirmed he's alive" dead) in a previous comic?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerSomething along the lines of "Your father's still dead, right?" "Well, we'll never be sure..."
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.I'll be honest, jumped in my seat a little bit. I didn't know Chris was so good at Nightmare Face.
Not gonna work, Doc. Also, those are really good runes. Well done, Chris.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Did he just make random grunting noises in hopes that it would activate some latent magic spell?
—R.J.
Lil' Doc just saw Gramps say "OM" and punch the ghost, then explain immediately afterwards that any ninja should be able to do that. Note that all of Lil' Doc's grunts sound kind of like "OM".
He couldn't give his own true name to power the spell?
Probably already cashed that one in the past.
AAAAAH KNEW IT! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH KNEW IT!!!
That thing with the wizard never referred to the Sizard that took his name!
If Grandpa had exchanged McNinja's true name for ice cream, this could all have been avoided.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerWell, that is one way to lose a True Name. What did all his friends call him at school before he got his doctorate, I wonder?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Master McNinja?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerYeah, probably something about ninjas. Hell, he probably excused "ninja business" for his lack of a given name rather than "wizard business" as more believable.
I have to say though. I was expecting his Grandfather to be the wizard that took his name.
I was partially right, Grandpappy McNinja took his name, but he wasn't the wizard.
"That Thing with the Wizard" refers to the event itself.

Maybe he had a "Ninja Name" to have something to be called by and that's where Sean got the idea from?
x6 That's assuming the kid who wears a ninja mask to school everyday and celebrates Katanaka instead of Thanksgiving has any of those. I mean, if he's anything like Dark Smoke Puncher, most people in the school don't even notice his existence.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon."A true ninja should be thoroughly educated yet have no record of school attendance."
Don't forget that DSP is a known student at the Catholic school, one who never misbehaves.
Also, nice The Unreveal there.
