There's also the slight issue that Jones would be cradle-snatching even if you invented time travel and found her a nice, early hominid to shack up with. Or allosaurus. Whichever.
James is an adult and can make his own damned choices. This is not cradle snatching.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIt's more Wife Husbandry or a lingering but successful Precocious Crush
I think you missed my point. <_< Jones might have some hope with something around the same age if she smiled at Pluto was my point. Any known life is younger than she is, no exceptions.
So, she can find any companionship where she may. She has little choice but to be rather a lot older than anybody.
Well, any issues or angst in my eyes would never have come from the age difference (however much or little) but from the fact Eglamore knew Jones since he was a child and was at least partially raised by her (hence Wife Husbandry). James wouldn't care about that and I'm not sure Jones would even understand why it'd even be an issue .

Like mentioned, they are both adults so they can do whatever they please. It's just that the arrangement is...unusual. Throw in his feelings for Surma and it gets even more unusual.

Eglamore continues description of Tony as a shifty [PERSON]
Oh, the [REDACTED]s are back. I would worry if they weren't.
So I recently went back and read the comic in it's entirety and [BOY!] had I forgotten a lot of stuff.
Re-watching Annie and Kat grow up in the span of a weekend was quite the trip.
Also, Diego is a [BAD MAN]
You know, I think Jimmy-Jims could stand to listen to himself a bit more. Yeah, Tony is deeply involved with the Court. And it does, in fact, only let people see what it wants them to see frequently. So, Egalmore, what does it say that you see all the awful stuff about someone completely controlled by the Court?
I'm not saying that Tony is a good person by any stretch. But as pitiful of a person as he is, I think he needs something more than a single night of drunken freedom.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. For those like me who had forgotten about the Omega Device: http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=1547
I was just about to ask if that thing was ever mentioned before. I wonder what it is.
I bet it's something to do with the ether.
The Omega Device is the Court's last ditch defense vs Dark Phoenix. It won't hold her.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Oh, I had thought it was the weird arrow.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️The Omega device is The Big O.

I have a message from another time...The Omega Device is a device that changes every single piece of text in the world into Greek, hence the use of the Greek letter omega.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The Omega Device corrects the pronunciation of anyone who says the word "omega" to the original Greek. (The shocking twist is that they discover this affects almost all of Britain and countries that follow their example, while most of the United States is unaffected, since American English actually has the right pronunciation for once.)
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Oh? How do other places pronounce it? Oh mee gah?
OH-meh-ga, as opposed to oh-MEG-a, I believe.
Arha has it right. Oh-mee-gah is the way a lot of places say it. Have an Australian.
Location likely factors. I'm American and have anyways pronounced it O-may-ga. I'd never heard O-mee-ga or O-meh-ga until I started watching Doctor Who.
If it's the Big O. Does that mean the Court does have a giant robot?
I think it came up in Jones' flashback chapter, and I take the impression it started as paternal and grew into something else as James did. If these an issue with it James doesn't care and Jones may not comprehend.
