* EarWorm: The Game Corner music seems to have struck a [[JustForPun chord]] with the Mob, as they immediately begin "dance rioting" (or ┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┘ DANCE RIOT ┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┘) whenever said area is entered.

* AnticlimaxBoss: Cynthia, who is widely regarded to be one of the strongest opponents in the entire Pokémon series, was defeated in fewer tries than [[LetsPlay/TwitchPlaysPokemonEmerald Wallace]]. ** There is also contention with the Pokemon Stadium betting system having carried over from the intermission, as some believe it will be a distraction and others believe it will be a fun side game. Many also blamed it for the game's lag, but dissent lightened when the streamer informed them that it was an issue with the emulator, not with Pokemon Stadium.
** The lack of evolution led to this, with people arguing over whether they should combat the {{Troll}}s and make the Pokémon evolve, or to just continue the journey and see how things play out. This mostly died down after most of Pokémon in the party managed to evolve, either through (uncancellable) items or simple luck.
** The mysterious time-lapse due to the game crashing was not pleasant, especially to lore creators. It's caused several of them to verbally attack each other over their own head-canon explanations for how the time-lapse transpired. That situation being exacerbated by the Egg Drama that had happened shortly before, and wasn't undone by, the crash. It's mixing your standard TPP BrokenBase with ShipToShipCombat.

** Within the team itself, Shinx/Flareon "Sun Flare" seems to be the mob's OneTruePairing. Until Bibarel and Flareon laid an egg, which has all but sunk that ship. It's led to a fair amount of ShipToShipCombat.

* ArcFatigue: For a good two days, the mob spent most of its time around Solaceon Town and due to the lack of evolutions (and much time spent in the daycare and Game Corner), it didn't feel like anything major was accomplished, despite defeating both Crasher Wake and Cyrus. The stalemate was broken when nppmwB9♢Im the Bidoof was accidentally released, which promptly drove away the lethargy that was beginning to creep into the journey.

* BaseBreaker: Giratina. Some portions of the Mob didn't want it because it would cause an inevitable PC shuffle, and they believe the team is perfect as it is. Others, however, did want it because they believed it would be helpful against the Elite Four and that Bibarel would be useless against them. In the end, Giratina was defeated, and Bibarel turned out to be much more useful than the Mob first expected.
** The mysterious time-lapse due to the game crashing was not pleasant, especially to lore creators. It's caused several of them to verbally attack each other over their own head-canon explanations for how the time-lapse transpired.
*** That situation being exacerbated by the Egg Drama that had happened shortly before, and wasn't undone by, the crash. It's mixing your standard TPP BaseBreaker with ShipToShipCombat.

** Navigating the PC. Due to the increased number of boxes and button inputs, it is easier than ever for the mob to get stuck trying to get the Pokemon they need. This has already led to four fatalities.
** Mt. Coronet, then Distortion World, then battling Cyrus, then battling Giratina. If at any time Napoleon blacked out, he found himself back at Hearthome, and the Mob's stuck doing it all over again.

* {{Shipping}}: In some circles, people have taken to pairing up [[HoYay Napoleon and Pearl]] together. Apparently it goes under the name [[IdiosyncraticShipNaming Debtshipping]].
** Others are shipping Napoleon with Cheryl ([[http://imgur.com/xyKfJDO example]]), and citing as a reason for Napoleon to [[DefrostingIceQueen slowly warm up]] to Pokémon.

The two lengthy game crashes (nine hours the first time, seven hours the second time) and the [[ShipToShipCombat fallout]] following the egg didn't make things better, nor did the hours upon hours of LevelGrinding deemed necessary to beat Cyrus. It worked out in the end, however, and the game quickly got back on track after taking care of Cyrus, with Napoleon winning his eight badge and succesfully traversing Victory Road in little more than a day, which includes several hours of gambling and trying to catch the Lake Trio for the funz.
