  • Growing the Beard: Can't Look Away is much more highly regarded than his previous three solo albums, which are mostly remembered as So Okay, It's Average.
  • Replacement Scrappy: A lot of Yes fans really don't like him for replacing Steve Howe.
  • Vindicated by History: Though it flopped commercially and was given mediocre to poor reviews by music critics at the time, Talk is now often considered Rabin's greatest artistic achievement with Yes (particularly "Endless Dream").
