• Never Live It Down:
  • To this day, the channel is infamous for a now-privated video where they called the titular character of Harry Potter a villain.
  • The Take very much standing on Amber Heard's side in their two videos about the Depp/Heard trial was not well received by many. Resulting in a high like-dislike ratio. It is often brought up as a sign of how toxic and incompetent the channel is.
• Older Than They Think: The channel has gotten a lot of flack in their latest videos for focusing too much on feminist messaging and centering every video on it. This ignores the fact that the channel has always been very feminist. Though the stark difference here is that in the early days, they were much more balanced in their approach. Usually only bringing up feminism to make a small point and instead focused more on making character analysis videos with a more politically neutral or less overt feminist take.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: While most viewers don't mind the channel's name change, there is a Vocal Minority who find it to be a very uninspired name. Preferring their more creative sounding previous name "ScreenPrism".
