- Crosses the Line Twice:
- The mockery against US army recruiters is topped off with a painfully inaccurate video about army life that satirizes American nationalism up to eleven. Highlights include a helicopter blowing up Nazis, Jason Voorhees, Osama Bin Laden and a freaking hurricane to a Russian song called "Arise, Ye Russian People". Even die-hard American nationalists would have a hard time not laughing.
- The army recruiting center has a banner welcoming suicidal teens.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Chalmers' protests based on the grounds that he's not completely bald when the episode "Replaceable You" reveals that his remaining hair is fake and he really is bald.
- Homer is nicknamed “Snowflake” by the unit's drill sergeant around a decade before the term became an insult and catch-all for people perceived to be overly-sensitive.
- The hilariously over-the-top and inaccurate recruitment video includes a scene where a helicopter shoots a hurricane and somehow blows it up. In 2017, a hurricane in Florida occurred, and some of the citizens plotted to get rid of the hurricane by shooting at it (with a press statement being issued to warn them to not do that).
