• Harsher in Hindsight: Eda comments how body swaps are like "demonic possession with the ones you love". In season 3, both she and Luz have loved ones end up as victims of Demonic Possession at Belos' hands.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: As shown in the the Grand Finale, this won't be the last time that a Titan inhabits Luz's body.
• Fanon Discontinuity: Because of the poor reception of this episode, many fans of The Owl House pretend it was never made, or isn't canon in the show. Fan fictions that retells the series will almost always have this episode Adapted Out.
• So Okay, It's Average: While not considered terrible on a universal level, there are portions of the fandom that consider this episode to be relatively weak compared to other episodes, due to its lack of progression of the story arc or myth arc (the only progressions being minor levels of Character Development and the reveal that Eda once wanted to join the Emperor's Coven, but it doesn't do much here or later on besides a mention), the cliche application of the "Freaky Friday" Flip as a way to enable the characters to understand each others' hardships better, and the fact that all elements of the episode end up being forgotten and unused later on, save for the Branding Glove making a few appearances in Season 2, and the Ratworms, also introduced in this episode, returning later on. You could skip the episode and not miss a thing later on barring the code hidden in the background, which you could simply look up online.
