• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Guy Holden is meant to be an adorable Dogged Nice Guy, but to modern audiences his behavior comes across more like a creepy and entitled stalker that refuses to take a no for an answer. He gets obsessed with Mimi after meeting her once, once he finds her again, he chooses to chase her around until he corners her, refusing to let her leave until she accepts his number, later, he chases her around after finding her another time, tries to take advantage of the situation after being invited to the room and is very close to beat up a guy for Mimi who was only in the room without giving her a chance to explain it. The fact that he's the main love interest instead of the resident Stalker with a Crush would probably not fly in a modern movie.
