• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Leonard says that his and Penny's children will be both "smart and beautiful", to which Sheldon adds "not to mention imaginary". Fast-forward all the way to the show's Grand Finale, and Sheldon gives this exchange a Call-Back and admits that his part of it was wrong.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Sheldon's passing comment about how he does have friends, namely 1,200 of them on MySpace, was at the time intended to show how nonexistent his real-life social circle was outside of Leonard, Howard, and Raj. Now, following MySpace's spectacular fall from grace and Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram becoming the social networks of choice for most people — MySpace was still the most widely-used social network when the pilot was filmed, albeit Facebook was rapidly catching up — combined with Sheldon's well-known aversion to change, the gag ends up taking on an entirely different meaning, making it instead look like Sheldon's clinging desperately to a dead social network.
