• Hilarious in Hindsight: While Mister Ogg is trying to annihilate the turtles with his Reality Warper powers, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady commandeer an oil-tanker as part of a scheme to get the Technodrome running, Bebop and Rocksteady wearing pirate outfits, lampooning the Pirates vs. Ninjas meme decades before it was a thing.
• Values Dissonance: Shredder calls Mister Ogg a "midget", a word that's considered to be a slur against little people and while considered normal in the 80's and 90's, wouldn't be allowed on TV today.
