• Alas, Poor Villain: Tear shows this whenever a Nemesis Uruk he likes, whether due to personality, actions taken or sheer difficulty to put down, gets killed unceremoniously or becomes deranged. Notable examples of this include Gluk the Bard, Gubu the Unashamed, Bruz and as of recent, Kruk Blood-Axe.
• Archive Binge: Tear currently has over 850 videos ^note Tear previously had over 2000 videos, many of which ended up being deleted because of YouTube monetization problems and because he thought they no longer represented what his channel was about, most of them being at least 10-15 minutes long, and he continues to upload every weekday. Watching them all would most likely take a couple of months.
• Awesome Music: Whenever he ends up fighting an Orc, badass fight music tends to play.
• Broken Base:
  • His decision to stop his Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor had disappointed quite a number of his fans, although he was quite obviously starting to get more and more bored with the game as its variety had started to stagnate.
  • The belated Orphan of Kos video where he becomes upset enough that he breaks his own controller in rage got a lot of flak for presumable unprofessionalism. On the other hand, a lot of people didn't blame him for being stuck on a borderline overpowered boss.
• Family-Unfriendly Aesop: Tear eventually comes to the conclusion that Slime Rancher is ultimately about segregation, as keeping the slimes apart prevents them from becoming black tar monsters, starvation and eradication.
• "Funny Aneurysm" Moment: It can be difficult rewatching his Bloodborne videoes after he finally admits he hated the game to the point of not ever wanting to return to it.^note To be clear; he mostly liked the actual gameplay, but the story was overly bleak and depressing. A little girl he sent to what he thought was safety was killed and eaten by a giant boar, her sister driven insane when she found out and killed herself, hundreds of people melded with the stone in various places due to a ritual, and little or no uplifting moments.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • His old "How to: Win Youtube & Get all the Monies" video was filled with advice that he ends up disregarding a few years later, including randomly disappearing for months at a time (even though he has only really disappeared a few times, mostly during the time he moved, but only for around a week or less), responding to the comments and interacting with people (since his viewer base has become so massive, it became harder and harder for him to reply to everybody who commented like he used to do, though he still replies from time to time, both on YouTube and on his subreddit) and finally, following the obvious trends and playing the most popular games of the moment.
  • In the second episode of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition {Title Update 13}, Tear argues that the game really needs flags. A year later in the 1.8 Bountiful Update, banners were added to the game.
  • In episode 10 of The Binding of Isaac, after re-rolling his character, Tear gets a build so overpowered that he pretty much one shots bosses, prompting him to declared that was the most overpowered combination he could ever get in the game. Needles to say, he was very wrong.
• Memetic Badass: Prâk "Bane" Jaws, for being a constant thorn in Tear's side during the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor playthrough.
  • After his rampage in Episode 56 of Shadow Of War, Kruk Blood-Axe has regained his reputation from his time as Tear's Nemesis and then some. He gained more than the reputation though - he betrays Tear later on.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • "Prick Prick Prickle!", "Buttons!", "Sticky Glue!" and "Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle!", lines uttered by the mad Uruks that Tear has encountered in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, have become memes in Tear's fanbase.
  • "Nobs!", one of Tear's most uttered words, has also become something of a meme.
• Nightmare Fuel: Has its own page.
• Nightmare Retardant: The entire Five Nights at Freddy's episodes is representative of this, with all of the Jump Scares edited to be funny rather than freaky. Tear's general mood while playing the game is also very relaxed and typically sarcastic.
• Paranoia Fuel: Prak Jaws, bar none. The fact that Prak frequently stalked and attacked Tear during his playthough and could seemingly come out of nowhere makes him quite frightening.
• Rooting for the Empire:
  • Tear is so frustrated at being forced to spend time with the supporting characters of Middle-earth: Shadow of War that he'd rather join up with the Nazgûl if he could. He's also way more invested in the Orcs than anyone else, but to be fair, they're perhaps the biggest selling point for the game and its prequel.
    Tear: I'm actually kind of okay being on that side. I don't mind serving Sauron, I always liked the bad guy. I'm just the cliche little fucking emo kid, I root for the fucking Sith boy!
    • He inadvertently predicts the game's major plot twist: Talion does indeed join up with the Nazgul.
  • In his last Cuphead normal difficulty video, Tear instantly accepts Satan's proposal to join his team and hands over all the souls he has collected, stating that:
    Tear: If I do get to be on your side, well that's a happily ever after I've wanted this entire time!!!
• The Scrappy: An In-Universe example: during his Middle-earth: Shadow of War playthrough, he immediately takes a disliking to Idril, particularly the idea of her being Talion's Satellite Love Interest. He also dislikes her father for being The Quisling to an Obviously Evil Big Bad and being idiotic enough to believe him. It's to the point where, when the Witch King appears, he begs him to kill either one and thanks him when he does so even if this means he stole the kill from him.
  • He also finds Ghul-Lover Orcs incredibly annoying for going on tangents about Ghuls. So much so that when he (Accidentally) recruits one in the Shadow Wars, he immediately kicks him out of the army.
