* CultClassic: ''Tamers Forever'' could be seen as a CultClassic among ''Franchise/{{Digimon}}'' fan fiction circles. It's not as well known as some other Digifics out there, But it is absolutely adored by those who have read it. (Just look at the reviews ''Silent Sorrow'' recieved)

** Then along comes ''Silent Sorrow'', which takes EmotionalTorque UpToEleven, throws in a fantastically deep and complicated plot and wonderfully insightful CharacterDevelopment and tops it all of by having a ridiculously large JustForFun/HolyShitQuotient, essentially growing a beard so massive, it could be used as a rope ladder to heaven.

* MagnificentBastard: [[spoiler: Chaos]]. Let's break it down, shall we? He has spent centuries manipulating humanity's most powerful figureheads in order to create worldwide chaos,. He is a [[CombatPragmatist ruthless tactician]] and a nigh unstoppable badass. Not to mention being [[AllGirlsWantBadBoys quite a hit with the ladies]]. (Although how much of that last part is simply his own bragging is up for debate). And he tops it all of by being [[DeadpanSnarker witty]], [[LaughablyEvil funny]], [[AwesomeEgo charismatic]] and all in all, just [[EvilIsCool a joy to watch]]

* HolyShitQuotient: ''Silent Sorrow'' has a rather large quantity of this thanks to it's '''long''' string of {{Tear Jerker}}s, NightmareFuel moments, {{Wham Episode}}s, {{Wham Line}}s and {{Awesome Moment}}s
* IronWoobie: Takato could be the poster boy for this trope, the amount of physical and mental torment he suffers through over the course of the series must be seen to be believed, but he takes it all on with a ''smile'' on his face. Seriously, the kid is a walking talking CrowningMomentOfAwesome.

* LoveItOrHateIt: If the two reviews it's received on this site are anything to go by.

* ComeForTheXStayForTheY: Come for the insanely hilarious antics and touchingly realistic romance. Stay for the incredibly engaging plot.

* LaughablyEvil: Even if he's not technically ''evil'', there is no denying that [[spoiler: Chaos]] is absolutely hilarious.

* MagnumOpus: ''Silent Sorrow'', the final and by far the meatiest of the five books.

* MartyStu: Thanks to his greatly increased skill as a tamer, status as TheChosenOne, NiceGuy personality, CharacterShilling, and lack of any [[FatalFlaw obvious flaws]], it's easy to see Takato as an extreme case of this trope.

Plus the fact that his powers come from [[spoiler: the fact that he's the vessel of ''chaos'', a force trying to take over his mind,]] and the fact that he [[spoiler: spends most of the final battle on his death bed.]] Not to mention his monumental screw-up during the battle with The Nightmare. (A villain who it's made abundently clearhe cannot defeat without Rika's help. [[SubvertedTrope Sorry, aren't Marty Stu's meant to be]] ''[[SubvertedTrope infalliable?]]''

** Although ''Tamers Forever'' is an undoubtedly fun and surprisingly well written series, it's still fairly average, until ''"Forget the Y2K, This is Madness!!"'', whereupon the series adopts a quality of writing that is on par if not better than that of professional authors.

* JerkassWoobie: Rika, ''oh dear god'', '''''RIKA'''''!! She is self-centered and mean, with an outrageous competitive streak. But it is '''''physically impossible''''' to read ''Silent Sorrow'' and not have your heart ache for her after seeing what the author puts her through.
