More Popular Spin Off: As a spin-off of Star Wars Adventures, The High Republic Adventures is more well-received than its parent comic line, even among readers outside the Advenures line's target demographic. Reasons include being part of another multimedia project exploring an untouched era of Star Wars, having more serialized stories (as opposed to the mainline Adventures comics being an anthology), and exploring more mature themes than one would expect of the Adventures line while still being relatively light-hearted compared to other stories in The High Republic project. It's telling that when IDW Publishing's contract with Lucasfilm expired in 2022, The High Republic Adventures was the only part of the Adventures comics to continue under its name with Dark Horse Comics coming back to publishing.
