  • Anvilicious: Big business is evil, and the only good MegaCorp is a dissolved one.
  • Broken Aesop: The "big business is bad" anvil is attempted even if your corporation has consistently behaved ethically and worked to build a rich, prosperous, democratic world. The game shows that your company can take on the role of providing for your employees and supporting global welfare, infrastructure and prosperity, and yet the Humane Ending requires you to aggressively support a government-based democratic socialist platform and eventually dissolve your company, which not only demonstrably made the world a better place, but made the Humane Ending possible in the first place.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: The increased PR penalties per researched technology regardless of application and potential to go wrong can make the public come off as small minded Ungrateful Bastards who like you less after you extend the world lifespan by several years, make organ waiting lists a thing of the past, and then follow it up by reinvesting in research to improve it further, compared to one who spent the money buying up shares of existing MegaCorp run nations.
