YMMV / Shocking Dark

• Moral Event Horizon: The Tubular Corporation crosses it when they deliberately render a major population centre uninhabitable just to jack up their real estate prices.
• Narm: Full of it, but this particular line tops it all.
  Drake: So you caught me? BIG DEAL! If you look under the city, you're gonna DIE, DIE, DIE!!!
• Serial Numbers Filed Off: It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this film is blatantly cashing in on the success of Aliens, even as it pretends to be a sequel to another film by the same director.
• So Bad, It's Good: Between the visibly low budget, the outright plagiarized scenes from Aliens, and over-acted dialogue on par with the original Resident Evil, this movie is undeniably hilarious.
• Special Effect Failure: The monsters lurking in the bunker look very stiff and plasticky, a problem made all the more obvious by the fact that the filmmakers do nothing to try and hide them.
• Suspiciously Similar Song: The score by Carlo Maria Cordio rips off elements of both James Horner's work on Aliens and Brad Fiedel's on The Terminator at every given opportunity.
