  • So why the hell did Kiriya have to return to his world when he clearly had a thing for Zechti? Souma, Saionji, and Reia stayed behind with no problems so why couldent he? In fact why did anyone leave? What teen would pick school over an epic fantasy realm?
  • Fridge Brilliance: Blanc Neige still remains as the Ice Queen, not a defrosted one, of the Weissritter, disregarding in Tears that she has actually warmed up a little to the team and flat out smiling in her ending. Because Tears X Wind takes place in a different continuity of Tears where events defrosting her probably didn't happen. And probably could not happen at all, because of what happened Xion in this particular continuity would be heartwrenching enough for her that even if she defrosted, she'd freeze back up afterwards, and there's nothing else that could defrost her.
• Ho Yay:
  • Oh boy. Zero washing Souma's feet comes to mind. Bonus points that they're played by the same seiyuu. There's also the part where Zero gives Souma one of the Twin Dragon Rings, which to be fair to Zero was a game mechanic in Shining Tears and determined who was going with him on a mission but still.
  • Souma's ultimate soul blade belongs to Kiriya. That is all.
