  • Awesome Art: The show has very vibrant, colourful character and background designs, in addition to very fluid animation and a cartoony art style.
  • Awesome Music: The series's theme song. It is so upbeat and energetic that you can't help but sing along to the lyrics.
  • Base-Breaking Character: Meepa. Some viewers may like her cute design and Genki Girl personality, while others may dislike her for being annoying and a bit mean to the other monsters.
  • Moe: Icklewoo. Just try not to go "Awww" everytime you see her.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • Anytime Miss Grizzlesniff gives her students comfort when they're upset.
    • In "I Want the Human", Wufflebump spends the entire episode doing kind deeds to help his friends.
    • Icklewoo and Wingston making up, and giving each other a hug in "Oh Wingston"
    • At the end of "Wingston's Mummy", When Wingston shows his father the shoebox cave he made, the latter compliments the star he put on top. He tells him that it represents his mother, who is now in the sky and shining down on him. The end credits of the episode even show pictures of Wingston when he was a baby, alongside his late mother.
  • Obscure Popularity: While the show is one of CBeebies' most popular shows in its home country, as well as having a small fanbase, it is rarely talked about and isn't very well-known in other countries.
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: With adorable protagonists, an amazing teacher and colourful designs, this show is sure enough to make anyone smile.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • Wufflebump feeling upset and left out when Yummble becomes friends with Meepa in "Bestest Friends".
    • In "Oh Wingston", Icklewoo becomes sad when Wingston won't stop showing off in class. Hell, anytime Icklewoo gets upset can be sad.
    • "Wingston's Mummy" features the Monster Children making shoebox caves with pictures of their families inside, with special decorations they got from their parents to help. However, Wingston is upset since all his father sent him was an envelope with stamps inside, and he then reveals he doesn't have a mother anymore, all but implying that she passed away prior to the events of the series. Especially heartwrenching for viewers who have also lost a parent.
