• Complete Monster: Sansho himself is a callous official who runs a mansion based around the exploitation and torture of slaves. Working many slaves to death, Sansho has them tortured for infractions and thrown out to die when they grow too old. Mocking his son as a weakling for his kindness, Sansho cuts the Achilles tendons of one attempted runaway, showing himself willing to brutalize and kill countless slaves.
