• It's Short, So It Sucks!: A common criticism is that, if you know what you're doing, you can beat the game in less than 10 minutes.
• Narm: Many moments, such as the hero kicking the killer in the face...and saying "Eat my Reeboks, freakface!".
• Nightmare Retardant: The titular killer isn't very scary. He's never shown actually killing anyone, his actor looks like an average joe, and his deep voice is just funny. Not even the death scenes are very frightening, as the killer sometimes delivers terrible one-liners as he kills you, and in others, he looks like hurriedly skittering towards the camera like a Looney Tunes character. Also, his name is Morgan.
• Memetic Mutation: "Eat my Reeboks, freakface!" is a quote that has stuck in the minds of people that have played the game.
• So Bad, It's Good: Good grief, with the small amount of FMV that appears there's bound to be a few ones that can leave the played somewhat amused.
  • One particular moment noted by Brutalmoose is practically this trope incarnate. It's when we get to see how things work inside the killer's head, where he monologues to himself... And, well, see it for yourself.
