  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: A complaint about the final episode is the fact Espio appears all of a sudden just to be killed by Furnace. Fans believe it would have been more impactful if the more plot-relevant Mighty would have died.
  • Complete Monster:
    • Starved is Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik after having consumed a cooked piggy. After becoming obsessed with the taste, he started building robots to hunt down the animals to cook and eat them, hunting down every animal on Little Planet, destroying any robots that don't meet his expectations, and even having his second Furnace kill Tails and Amy.
    • The second Furnace that Starved built kills Tails and Amy the minute he is activated. After that, he attempts to catch Sonic to please Starved, but after getting a vision of Starved killing him for failing, he proceeds to just kill Starved, take over his robot army, and then bring Little Planet out of orbit to suffocate all its inhabitants, all in an effort to increase his own power.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Why does Episode 7 has voice acting when none of the previous episodes did? Because the episode is based on Prey, the Friday Night Funkin' song the series was named after (with the main difference being that Starved is killed at the end instead of Sonic). That song did have voice acting, so Episode 7 simply stays true to the song in that regard, despite not staying true so much in other aspects. If anything, Sensation Studios' take on the dialogue between Sonic, Furnace and Starved is even better than in the song.
  • Nightmare Fuel: As this is an animated series based off a creepypasta, chills are expected.
    • Eggman's transformation into Starved. He returns to his destroyed lair while slowed down Sonic 1 boss music plays in the background to see a cooked pig in a capsule that he been blown up when his egg carrier crashed into it when he escaped Sonic. He just approaches it and grabs the pig and takes a bite, the music stopping when he does so.
    • Just the sheer fact that Starved considered it necessary to build not one but TWO Furnaces.
    • The characters are Suddenly Voiced in episode 7, and Starved's voice is absolutely horrifying to listen to. Even Sonic is disturbed.
    • Furnace killing Starved is the beginning of how dangerous this robot is.
    • Furnace's end goal of pulling Little Planet out of orbit to deprive its inhabitants of air is extremely unsettling. Imagine you are just walking around only for you and everybody around you to suddenly start gasping for air.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • Mighty's discovery of Ray's skull. The poor guy recognizes it and immediately starts crying over his friend's death.
    • Much like in the original story, Tails has one of his tails torn off. It is very heartbreaking to see.
    • Both Amy and Tails meeting their demise at the hands of the second Furnace. Because the robot was also after Sonic, the hedgehog couldn't even be given time to grieve over them.
    • Espio getting knocked off the chains that the planet is connected to. He sheds a tear, showing that he is sad to go out in such a way, even if he poses so that he can Go Out with a Smile. Meanwhile, Mighty is once again grief-stricken over the loss of another friend.
  • The Woobie: Mighty of all characters gets this. He is heartbroken when he finds the remains of Ray and realizes he has to stop Starved before more die. He is unable to save Amy or Tails. When he and Sonic get Espio's help in fighting Furnace, he has to witness Espio get thrown off the planet to his death as well. If there is anything positive for the poor Armadillo, it's that Sonic uses the time stone to undo everything, allowing Mighty to reunite with his lost friends.
