** This actually caused some controversy, with Pacific Islanders and Anthropologists protested to Apple [[EverythingIsRacist claiming the game was racist]]. Bolt Creative defended the game, stating that "it depicts no specific race or nationality." The game's programmer, Dave Castelnuovo got in touch which one of the Pacific Islanders and made a few compromises: the Pygmies would now be called [[{{Bowdlerize}} "Oogs"]] and the [[EenieMeenieMinyMoai Moai statue]] would be replaced with a fictional octopus god statue. Later, the Oogs were renamed back to "Pygmies" again, as Dave found it didn't cause any friction between Pacific Islanders.

** The Apocalypse Rooms all have their share of NightmareFuel, like the Plague Room with its [[DarkIsEvil dark]], [[SicklyGreenGlow sickly]] atmosphere and ability to infect Pygmies with a deadly disease, or the Locust Room which contains a giant man-eating locust in the middle and some pretty brutal deaths, like being force-feed locusts and exploding into a green goo. But the most nightmarish is definitely the Purification Chamber, despite its [[LightIsNotGood bright, pristine]] appearance. It seemingly causes Pygmies to go insane from [[TerrifiedOfGerms overbearing germophobia]] and eventually causes them to [[FadingAway fade from existence]]. The music is also creepy as well, containing an ominous piano and sounding like something out of a horror movie.
