  • Awesome Music:
  • Esoteric Happy Ending: At the end of Hoshi no Hito, The Junker and Yumemi are reunited in Heaven, thus, Yumemi's wish of Heaven not being split in two was granted. But what of the three kids that were meant to be the world's new Stargazers? Sure the Junker gave them his books to learn, but will they ever leave the village and did the elders approve of them becoming Stargazers?
    • Well yes, the elders explicitly did approve of them succeeding the Stargazer, but whether they ever will is left up in the air.
  • Gateway Series: The game is cited as one of the best for people new to Key and Visual Novels for its short length and official English version.
  • Player Punch: Only somewhat, but by the time the punch happens, the reader is probably very, very attached to Yumemi.
    • And the theme that plays at the moment of her "death" is probably the saddest one in the game, and is named "Perfectly Human". It's a rather ironic and meaningful title, since she was probably the only being on Earth that still had hope at this point.
  • Woolseyism: A rare case of one in a fan translation was the attempt to directly translate the robot girl's name, Hoshino Yumemi (lit. "dreaming of the stars") into English as "Reverie Planetarian".
