Otep's story was that it was due to entitled, diva-like behavior from them. The Convalescence's story, meanwhile, was that she was an absolute tyrant who forced them to close their merch table during her set, wouldn't even let them be in the same room as her at any time, and rewarded them for their help and attempts at fostering good will and being good touring partners by constantly belittling and insulting them and generally treating them like dirt. She finally kicked them off the tour for not shutting down their merch table during her set several nights before, and that was ''after'' she had previously attempted to kick them off in Florida after Otep's driver accused them of buying weed from venue staff, which in turn was an attempt by the driver to throw them under the bus after he had already called the cops after an argument with Ari Mihalopoulos. The merch table shutdowns were the thing that really got her torn into[[/note]].
