• Fridge Brilliance: Aside from comedic reasons, Cortex deciding to bring Mario Head along for Robotnik and his plans in Mashed Bandicoot Part I does have some practicality to it. After all, given the typical plots of the Sonic and Crash games, as well as extended media, it was almost inevitable that either (or, worst case scenario, both) of the Doctors' archenemies would try to foil their plans (and on cue, one of them does). So, bringing along Mario, a character who has a similar skill set to the hedgehog and marsupial, as way to counteract either of them was a solid idea. This also ends up working out in their favor, as Crash is too weak to take on Mario Head, provoking Aku Aku and, afterwards, Mr. Krabs to take on Mario Head themselves, and in Shoot Dr. Cortex, Mario Head successfully kills Sonic per Robotnik's request while Robotnik is busy taking on Crash himself.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In Everything Wrong With Mashed Bandicoot, one of NPCarlsson's sins is that Aku Aku is watching Meaningless News on a flat-screen TV outside of Crash's house, when Crash doesn't own a TV outside his house. Come Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, and this sin would be rectified by Crash actually having a TV outside on the beach, which he plays games on during the ending.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Two of the Big Bad Ensemble of Mashed Bandicoot cross it at different points.
    • Dr. Cortex crosses it when he shoots Mr. Krabs dead, who posed no threat to him and only cared about defeating Mario Head to get his Millionth Dollar back, which he proved successful at and likely would've left the Doominator after the fact.
    • Mario Head, while not crossing it in Mashed Bandicoot proper, crosses it in Shoot Dr. Cortex when he attempts to eat Robotnik's son, Tails, despite Robotnik only ordering for him to kill Sonic.
  • Ripto crosses it in Ripto's Regicide when he chops Ignitus' head off and claims his position as king, when Ignitus didn't even do anything to Ripto back in Ripto's Racist.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: Ripto's Regicide, during its production, ended up having a scandal come to light of one of the collaborators, MrSnappyEagle, stealing two different Spyro YouTube Poops from different people, merging them into one, and claiming them as his own entry. His name is still in the video, as it was too late to reject his entry, but NPCarlsson made sure to credit the original Poopers in the video's description.
• Saved by the Fans: Originally, Dingodile and King Ripper Roo's story arc of trying to get their pizza was cut short with no plans for it to go any further, but due to fans questioning en masse in the comments of Mashed Bandicoot Part II about what happened to them, their story arc would be expanded on further in later videos. First, with a sequel sketch midway through SPYRO ROASTS, and finally, with them finally getting their pizza in the secret ending for Shoot Dr. Robotnik.
