• Alternative Character Interpretation: Given his reaction when Kevin won the talent contest for his team, did Eddy sign the entire cul-de-sac up for the show because he wanted them to be famous or because he knew that some of them won't survive and hopes that he and the other two Eds will come out alive? Given that he's Hated by All in his universe, it's quite concerning.
• Tear Jerker: Whereas the original fic is more ambiguous about at which unspecified point of Ed, Edd n Eddy or The Loud House it happens, this story all but confirms that the emotive events of Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show will definitely not happen in this continuity, which means that the Cul-de-sac kids will not accept the Eds and the Eds will not redeem themselves, among other things.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Noah and Cody are supposed to have the right of hating Ed for laughing at the executions of Justin and Beth, leading them to fight him when he finds a Life Idol and voting him off. However, just like Kevin points out, Ed doesn't know what happens most of the time and may not really understand the seriousness of the situation. Plus, Noah and Cody taking his Life Idol and giving it to DJ seems a bit cruel, as they could have gotten rid of Ed by having him leave the island with the idol.
