• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Kurogane is so unstable that nobody can use it but Chifuyu, who's a godly skilled pilot. Then why do Ichika and Madoka also turn out to be able to use it? Super reflex and inhuman stability respectively.
  • Since Ichika is somewhat accustomed with Kurogane in this fic, he quickly conquers Byakushiki, unlike in canon where he's having a hard time with the latter.
  • Houki perform badly against Charles in the Canon... Well, she's a Dual Wielding Lady of War, as shown by her future I.S.' armaments.
• Growing the Beard: The first three chapter started up as dolled-up LN chapter with a Recycled Script,
• Ho Yay: While the original series had some, the author exaggerates it in the series, in part thanks to Char being a man who still likes Ichika.
