- Anvilicious: There is a VERY heavy thesis in the story that Sylvanas was only ever driven to villainy because of the unwarranted hatred shown toward her even by her own family and that there is no justification for treating her like a monster for the "crime" of being abused.
- Awesome Ego: Anevay is fully aware of her talents as a Champion and uses that to push the Horde leadership around.
- Creepy Cute: The abominations are characterized more like puppies and endearing oafs than literal monstrosities. Anevay likes them, and thinks they're cute.
- Draco in Leather Pants: Invoked, strangely enough. Anevay is always eager to proclaim Sylvanas' virtues and demonize nearly everyone else, but she's always been written as an extremely biased party.
- Dry Docking:
- Sylvanas and Nathanos are vaguely alluded to be romantically interested in one another in canon. Here they're closer to Vitriolic Best Buds, with Nathanos being far more casual with her.
- Jaina and Kalec break up a lot sooner than in canon, largely due to Silysa offering her a similar comfort that Anevay was offering to Sylvanas.
