• Crosses the Line Twice: A web series that has a premise literally centered on innocent Toons dying in painful ways. Check. Kirby is one of the Toons and his entire shtick is dying like Kenny McCormick as the mixture of Black Comedy and Kill the Cutie. Double Check. An entire episode is centered on Kirby getting injured, bruised, eviscerated, and then becoming roadkill. You can check that list a hundred times over again. Kirby always had particularly messy and brutal deaths, but this episode leaped beyond the line when it began subjecting him to a brutal Mutilation Conga.
• Never Live It Down: Kirby's death scene is so brutally over-the-top, even by the show's own standards, that most viewers tend to disregard the rest of the episode.
• Tear Jerker: Seeing Kirby in a lot of pain throughout the entire episode. His endearing nature most certainly doesn't help matters.
• The Woobie: Kirby. This adorable creature is abused throughout the whole episode. Even when he is confronted by the sweet release of death, his expression is nothing but pure horror. Here's a reminder; Kirby is the victim.
