• Ho Yay: The scene in the beginning where Carl is miffed with Tred for "licking him" and even reminded Tred of a "no licking" rule during hide and seek, implying that Tred has done this to Carl before.
• Moe: Carl the raccoon. He's very fluffy and has a rather adorable voice.
• The Woobie: Surprisingly, Tred. Despite being a complete idiot, there is a scene where he opens up to Carl and Lilly about how his family members were run over by cars.
