• Alpha Strike: In "Discovery and Flight" the Alliance base deploys virtually all its fighters to stop an Imperial battle-group. Around a third of them don't come back and they've exhausted their torpedo stocks, but they do bloody the Imperials and cost them several ships. The attack is spread out over multiple targets, but it's extremely all-or-nothing and when it initially fails, it puts the Alliance fighter squadrons in a VERY bad position.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: Possible male equivalent in Lt. Geun Choi in "Discovery and Flight." Readers disagree about whether he subconsciously views Captain Bradford Tomich as a rival for Lt. Tammy Watson's affections or simply views him as simply bad for her.
